Hair Removal
Laser hair removal reduces unwanted hair over a course of sessions by targeting the pigment in the follicle, leaving skin smoother and far lower-maintenance than shaving or waxing. Because hair grows in cycles, a planned course spaced over time gives the best, longest-lasting reduction.
Book a consultationWhy consider it
- ✦Lasting reduction of unwanted hair
- ✦Smoother skin with fewer ingrown hairs
- ✦Suitable for many areas of the body
- ✦Lower maintenance than shaving or waxing
Who it's for
It suits people who want a lasting reduction in unwanted hair on areas such as the face, underarms, legs, arms or bikini line, and who are tired of frequent shaving or waxing. Hair and skin type influence the approach, so these are assessed before treatment.
What the procedure involves
After assessing your hair and skin, the device is set appropriately and passed over the area in a comfortable session. Several sessions spaced weeks apart are needed to catch hairs across their growth cycles. We advise on preparation and aftercare, including sun protection of treated skin.
Recovery & downtime
Mild redness can occur briefly after treatment, and you can return to normal activities the same day while avoiding sun on the treated area. Hair sheds over the following days, and reduction builds across the course of sessions.
Risks & considerations
Results vary with hair colour, thickness and skin type, and very light or fine hair responds less well. Maintenance sessions may be needed over time. We assess your hair and skin to set the device safely and to give you a realistic idea of the outcome.
